In the eerie setting of St Lukes bombed out church the Liverpool Lantern Company are hosting a Halloween Fair. Unfortunately they had to cancel the Sefton Lantern Parade due to funding problems but they are hoping to make a triumphant return this year. In the meantime they’ll be transforming the church into a spooky glowing lair filled with magical lanterns. There’s also a pedal-powered mini fairground, sideshows, live zombie band, shadow theatre, games and lots of tricks and treats. The company is also holding lantern making workshops at the Old Police Station, The Blackie and The Greenhouse project in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
